INTELLIGENT: INnovative TEaching and LearnIng of GENeraTions Z and Alfa in Higher Education

INTELLIGENT (INnovative TEaching and LearnIng of GENeraTions Z and Alfa in Higher Education) is an Erasmus+ project coordinated by Vilniaus kolegija / Higher Education Institution (Lithuania) in partnership with organisations from Latvia, Estonia, Italy, Portugal and the Netherlands.
Three of these partners are members of the Ulixes network, further strengthening collaboration within the alliance and fostering the exchange of innovative educational practices across Europe.

The project aims to transform entrepreneurship education by making it more innovative, engaging, and digitally advanced for Generations Z and Alpha.

Through the integration of virtual reality, business simulations and artificial intelligence, INTELLIGENT promotes new teaching and learning methodologies that connect theory with real-world entrepreneurial practice. The initiative brings together universities, VET organisations and enterprises to ensure that training reflects the evolving demands of the labour market.

The project is developing a European-level methodology for entrepreneurship education, implemented through:

  • Train-the-trainer programmes;
  • Intensive international learning weeks;
  • A business simulation game co-created by students, educators, and business representatives;
  • A comprehensive training course adaptable across educational systems.

INTELLIGENT officially started with a kick-off meeting in Vilnius (29–31 October 2024) and continued with the second transnational meeting at Avans University of Applied Sciences (2–3 April 2025, Netherlands). During this session, partners analysed research findings, advanced the simulation game concept, and planned future activities, including workshops and training sessions scheduled for 2026.

By empowering educators and students with advanced digital and entrepreneurial skills, INTELLIGENT supports the digital transformation of higher education and prepares new generations to thrive in an innovation-driven Europe.
